Job Description
*Utilize skills and experience in the area of Electronics Engineering Technology, perform various projects focused on testing, evaluating, repairing component level electronics, maintaining and improving test equipment, safety equipment, quality of customer service, and reducing overhead and cost.
*Perform on-going technical support to the Operations and Manufacturing teams, focusing on application of electrical and electronics principles and industry best practices.
*Participation in projects related to the medical device field, including project management, costing, Bill of Materials, design analysis, reliability analysis, root cause analysis, and specification development.
* Assist with the design and engineering of test equipment and equipment modifications with precision and accuracy. Installations should occur without unreasonable interruptions to Operations or unanticipated problems.
*Calibration, maintenance, device programming, and assistance with design engineering.
* Support Manufacturing and Operations with electrical projects and troubleshooting of all circuit board assemblies, subassemblies, and complete medical devices, to the component level.
* Assist in the development and support of Electronics Engineering projects, including new product development, contract engineering projects, and contract manufacturing projects, focusing on the key electrical systems that require on-going monitoring, maintenance, and upgrading.
Candidate Requirements
*AAS, ASEE or ASEET or higher degree required.
*2 to 5 years equivalent electronics engineering experience is required.
*Expertise in electrical drives (AC and DC drives), logic design, analog design, digital experience, and embedded programming.
*GMP and GDP experience required
*Expert knowledge of schematics for circuit boards
*Project Management /Team Lead experience.
*Knowledge of National Electric Code,
*Experience with medical devices.
*Medical device software, hardware, firmware, and configurations of medical device usage
*Experience with contract engineering is a plus.
